Altoona Parrot Head Club is a newly sanctioned chapter of PHIP, proudly serving Altoona, PA and the surrounding area.

 

We are a collection of folks who embrace the music and writings of Jimmt Buffett and believe in "leaving things just a little bit better than we found them ... and having a BLAST while doing it."

 

WHAT WE DO

 

In the thirteen year period 2002 - 2015, Parrot Head Clubs collectively raised for and/or donated to charitable organizations almost $40,000,000 !!  Additionally, chapters worldwide donated approximately 3.4 million man-hours to philanthropic and environmental activities !! 

 

Parrot Heads truly are "Angels in Tropical Shirts."

Parrot Heads in Paradise, Inc. is the sole sanctioning body for all Parrot Head Clubs worldwide and currently boasts some 230+ sanctioned chapters. 

 

The purpose of the organization is to promote the international network of Parrot Head Clubs as a humanitarian group sharing information and social activities for mutual benefit. The organization will engage in activities that are charitable, educational and that promote the general welfare of the community. Parrot Heads in Paradise, Inc. is a Not-For-Profit Corporation, whose purpose is to assist in community and environmental concerns and provide a variety of social activities for people who are interested in the music of Jimmy Buffett and the tropical lifestyle he personifies.
